Preparation for international German exams from skype-language

This course is for you if you want to:

- get unto a university in a German-speaking country,

Skype-Language provides preparation for the following exams:

The duration of the course depends on your initial language level and the exam you have chosen. For some exams, such as Start Deutsch 1 from 0, 1 to 4 months will be enough to prepare. Whereas, you will need about 1.5 years of intensive lessons in order to prepare for TestDaf or Goethe Zertifikat B2 from 0. If a student’s level is already sufficient for the exam, they need to get acquainted with the exam format, and it will take 1 to 2 months. A standard preparation course for a particular exam is 30 hours if a student’s language level is at a required level.


All our teachers have personal experience in taking international exams, as well as experience in preparing students for them. Therefore, they thoroughly know both the features and the pitfalls of different exam options.


Our course is aimed at a thorough study of each aspect of the exam you have chosen (Lesen, Hören, Schreiben, Sprechen). And if you experience difficulties with any particular part of the exam, then it will be the focus. In the lessons you will work out exam situations, so you will not be surprised by anything and there will be no reasons for concerns. Our students have successfully passed exams at all levels: from A1 to C2.

Since exam preparation is different from general German courses, the textbooks used will also be different according to the chosen exam.
We use the books designed to prepare you for the exams А1-С2, DTZ, Testdaf, DSH, Studienkolleg: Fit für Goethe Zertifikat/ Testdaf, Prüfungstraining , Endstation, Mit Erfolg zum Goethe- Zertifikat/Testdaf, So geht es bester zum Goethe/ÖSD- Zertifikat, Horizonte.


As a rule, a German exam contains 4 parts: Lesen (reading), Hören (listening),  Schreiben (writing), and Sprechen (speaking).

In the course, you will get to know all the requirements for each part in detail. You will also learn the strategies to help you pass the exam with flying colors. You will learn how to write personal and formal letters, and essays, describe graphs and pictures, create presentations and write reports, conduct discussions, and create dialogues and conversations. Moreover, you will be able to read and understand the text and look for key information in educational, popular science, ad news texts. You will practise listening with audio and video materials, podcasts, entertaining and scientific shows, announcements, and interviews.


Taking an exam is always stressful, even when it is in your native language. The goal of our course is to familiarise you with all the exam aspects and provide you with information and practice, so you will feel confident and uplifted during the exam. And as a result, make sure you will get the desired certificate. After obtaining it, it will be easer to find a job, get a visa, be admitted into a university, or gain citizenship.
