About teacher of English - Maya R.

Hello! My name is Maya, I am from Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

I’ve been teaching English for more than 14 years. I have experience of working with corporate clients: various courses for groups and individual lessons with top managers.

At Skype-Language I give online lessons to adults and teenagers. It can be General, Business or English for Specific Purposes course on Medicine, Psychology, Management, Public relations, Pedagogy or other field. I will help schoolchildren with school programme, enter specialized school, etc. I will help adults to get ready for entrance exams to post-graduate studies, prepare a presentation, feel confident at an international conference, or deal with other requests. My strong points as a teacher include: clear and understandable explanations; comfortable atmosphere; focusing on practical skills to use in real life.

Students appreciate good atmosphere, engaging activities and that they enjoy speaking English at my lessons.

As to my education, I graduated from Electrotechnical University, Faculty of Humanities. I studied two foreign languages at university – English and French. I have two teaching qualifications: Teaching Diploma of the Academia of Post-graduate Pedagogical Education and an international teaching certificate of Cambridge – CELTA.

My motto as a teacher is: “Practise makes perfect”!
