Who can study?

When assessing our applicants for the course “Conversational German from Skype-Language”, we require the minimal level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

You’ve already learnt so much, you want to know more but the most important is that you want to speak German.

Besides, they will also create real life situations to help you speak up at the lesson. You just learn how to talk about things that surround you but in German.

The teachers build the lessons on the basis of texts, video and some recent news in order to provide you with interesting conversation starters.

All materials and topics for the lesson are chosen in advance depending on the needs of students.

For beginners in German there are the following topics to choose: ”The first contact”, “Your House”, “Travelling”, “Food”, “Hobby”, “Fashion” and “Transport”. There are many others as well to help you leap over the language barrier in real life situations.

For people wishing to perfect German there are other topics of current importance to discuss, offered by our teachers. These include: “Life, study and work in Germany”, “Customs and traditions”, “German language and dialects”, “Culture” and “Politics”. There are other common and special topics, the practice of which will help you take part in dialogues and further conversations with German native speakers.

The course program implies reading of literary works and publicistic texts. Moreover, you will watch news, documentary and feature films.

Our German teachers from Skype Language School will do their best to make you use the language in a daily life, even if you do not live in a German speaking country. For example, a teacher can ask you to call the German embassy or any German company. You can be asked to write a letter to any German university or medical insurance company in order to find out some information you need or find native speakers in your city and extend the hand of friendship to them.

Through the dialogue, you enrich your vocabulary, hear the real examples of the word and phrase usage, polish up grammar issues and improve German pronunciation. By means of that, you overcome your language barrier and learn how to speak fluently and grammatically correct.
