Russia is a very attractive country for foreign tourists but it may cause difficulty to communicate with people while travelling. In case you intend to visit Russia or any other Russian-speaking country you might be interested in acquiring basic knowledge of the speaking Russian language .
To meet this need we offer you to take the course “Russian for Tourists from Skype-Language”.
The course is approximately 60 academic hours in length (1 academic hour is 45 minutes). If you plan to study 4 times a week for an hour and a half, it will take you two months to complete the course.
During the very first week you will learn how to name things, people and professions. You will also learn how to ask questions and how to introduce yourself. Thus by the end of the first week you should be confident enough to tell a short story about yourself, a friend, a coworker or family member.
Halfway through, by the end of the first month, you will know how to find your way in a new place or give directions using the Russian language; you will be able to talk with a friend or coworker about what happened yesterday or about your plans for future. You will have learned to discuss things you like to do as well as things you prefer to avoid.
Finally, upon completion of this course you will be able to go shopping in Russian without an interpreter, order dishes at a restaurant, understand the weather forecast, talk about climate and write letters.
Our professional online tutors of the Russian language will work together with you via skype and it will involve constant adjustment of materials based on your language goals, course expectations and learning style. Materials will include a textbook, online audio and video materials, as well as additional internet resources (e.g. menus of Russian restaurants, theatre schedules, plans of Russian airports, etc).
